Power Finance Corporation Subsidiary Incorporates SPV for 400/220/132 kV AIS Transmission System in Maharashtra

Power Finance Corporation Limited's subsidiary, PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL), has incorporated a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), LATUR REZ TRANSMISSION LIMITED, as a wholly owned subsidiary. This SPV has been set up for the establishment of a 400/220/132 kV AIS transmission system in Maharashtra. Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) has appointed PFCCL as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for the selection of a Bidder as Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through a Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process. The SPV will be responsible for various preparatory activities such as survey, land acquisition, and forest clearance, if required. Post the bidding process, the SPV will be transferred to the successful bidder who will then develop the project.
