Power Grid appoints Akhilesh Pathak as Director (Projects)

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd announced the appointment of Shri Akhilesh Pathak as Director (Projects), effective September 30, 2026. The appointment was made by the Ministry of Power and is valid until his superannuation on May 31, 2028, or until further orders. Shri Pathak, an alumnus of POWERGRID's first batch of Executive Trainees, brings over 32 years of experience in the power sector, including transmission system planning, project execution, and business development. He previously served as Executive Director, OSD (Projects). His appointment led to Shri Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan relinquishing the additional charge of Director (Projects). Shri Pathak is not related to any existing directors or KMPs and is not debarred from holding office.
