Power Grid Corporation Acquires Mandsaur RE Transmission Limited for Rs. 7.30 Crore

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has acquired Mandsaur RE Transmission Limited (MIRETL) for an aggregate value of approximately Rs. 7.30 Crore. The acquisition was made on 08.10.2025 under the Tariff based competitive bidding route. MIRETL, incorporated on 16.04.2025, is yet to start commercial operation and will be operating in the power transmission business in India. The acquisition includes 10,000 equity shares at par at Rs. 10/- each along with assets and liabilities of MIRETL. The acquisition price is subject to adjustment as per the audited accounts of MIRETL as on the acquisition date.
