
POWER GRID CORPORATION Approves ¥429.16 Crore Investments in Two Major Projects
POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD. has approved investments for two projects in its Committee of Directors meeting on 03 February 2025. The first project, 'Creation of 400kV switchyard along with installation of 2*1500MVA, 765/400kV ICTs at Vataman (AIS) with 2*125MVAr (420kV) Bus Reactors associated with Transmission System for Offshore Wind Zone Phase-1 (500 MW VGF off the Coast of Gujarat for Subzone B3)', is estimated to cost ¥319.42 crore and scheduled for commissioning by 19.02.2026. The second project, 'Additional Transmission System proposed for redundant power supply to Dholera area', is estimated to cost ¥109.74 crore and scheduled for commissioning by 01.03.2026. These projects align with the 'Transmission System for Offshore Wind Zone Phase-1 (500 MW VGF off the coast of Gujarat for Subzone B3)' scheme.
