Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Acquires Bellary Davanagere Power Transmission Limited for Rs. 13.02 Crore

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) has acquired Bellary Davanagere Power Transmission Limited (BDPTL) for an aggregate value of Rs. 13.02 Crore. The acquisition was made under the Tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) route and includes 50,000 equity shares at par at Rs. 10/- each along with assets and liabilities of BDPTL. The project comprises 400 kV D/c Transmission Line traversing in the state of Karnataka along with associated line bays works at both ends and augmentation works at both Davangere and Bellary Pooling Stations. BDPTL is yet to start commercial operation and will be operating in India.
