POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD. Acquires Rajasthan IV 4A Power Transmission Limited for Rs. 18.37 Crore

POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD., a Government of India Enterprise, has acquired Rajasthan IV 4A Power Transmission Limited (RIV4APTL) for an aggregate amount of Rs. 18.37 Crore. The acquisition was made on 30.12.2024 under the Tariff based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route. The project involves the establishment of a 765/400kV sub-station near Ghiror in Uttar Pradesh, 765kV & 400kV Transmission lines traversing in Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh, and augmentation and bay extension works at various under-construction and existing substations in Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh. RIV4APTL, incorporated on 06/08/2024, is yet to start commercial operation and has no recorded turnover for the last 3 years. The entity will be engaged in the business of transmission of power and will operate in India.
