Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited has received a favourable Arbitration Award amounting to INR 4.09 Crore along with interest at 18% per annum from September 15, 2025 until the date of actual payment. The order was issued on 15 September 2025 by the Honourable Arbitral Tribunal under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in the matter of Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited v/s Chennai Port Trust, Chennai. The case relates to the agreement dated March 21, 2014 for providing power supply arrangements for the Navy at Madhusudan Jetty in Chennai Port Trust. This ruling marks a significant development in PIGL’s long-standing claim, reaffirming the company’s contractual rights and recognising its execution of specialised electrical infrastructure work.
