POWERGRID Declared Successful Bidder Under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project 'Transmission system strengthening for integration of additional RE potential at Davanagere (0.25 GW) and Bellary (2.75 GW)'. The project includes a 400 kV D/c Transmission Line in Karnataka, associated line bays works at both ends, and augmentation works at Davangere and Bellary Pooling Stations. POWERGRID received the Letter of Intent on 08 January, 2026.
