Praj Industries Collaborates with Enersur S.A. for Biorefinery Project in Paraguay

Praj Industries, a global leader in bioeconomy-driven process solutions, has been selected by Enersur S.A., a renewable energy company in Paraguay, to support the development, assessment, and phased implementation of a fully integrated Biorefinery Project. The Biorefinery aims to produce ethanol and co-products such as distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), corn oil, biogas, biobitumen, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The partnership was recognized during a State Visit to India by the President of Paraguay, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation of ministers, senior officials, and business leaders. The collaboration comes on the back of a contract awarded to Praj by Enersur to design, supply, and commission a state-of-the-art 600 m¥day Anhydrous Ethanol plant in Canindeyu, Paraguay, which will contribute to reduced reliance on fossil fuels and promote economic growth in rural Paraguay.
