Praj Industries Ltd. Celebrates 75 Years, Inaugurates Sustainable Road Made with Lignin-based Biobitumen

Praj Industries Ltd. is celebrating its 75th anniversary, marking the occasion with various milestones in the bioeconomy and sustainability sector. The company's lignin-based biobitumen was used to construct the country's first sustainable road on NH-44 near Nagpur, inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari. Praj also inaugurated the country's first Biopolymer Demonstration facility at Jejuri, in the presence of Dr Jitendra Singh, Dr Rajesh Gokhale, and Dr Ashish Lele. Dr Pramod Chaudhari's entrepreneurial journey is documented in a book titled '... AX Aa Hiei', published at the hands of Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendraji Fadnavis. Praj's Grain Module Addition Workshop in Pune highlighted feedstock diversification as the next big leap for biofuels.
