Praxis Home Retail appoints Ravi Venkatraman as Chairperson

Praxis Home Retail Ltd. announced the appointment of Mr. Ravi Venkatraman as Chairperson of the Company, effective April 15, 2026. This decision was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Venkatraman will assume the Chairperson role in addition to his existing position as an Independent Director. He is a highly experienced finance professional, a Chartered Accountant, and a Cost Accountant, with over four decades of experience in the BFSI sector. His extensive background includes serving as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited, where he was instrumental in corporate strategy, capital raising, governance, and risk management. He has also held various board and advisory roles in financial services, insurance, and asset management companies. The company confirmed he is not related to any other directors and is not debarred by SEBI.
