Prime Fresh Entrusted with Nashik Vegetable Cluster Project
Prime Fresh Limited has been appointed as the Implementing Agency for the Nashik Vegetable Cluster Project, a key initiative under the Indian government's Cluster Development Programme (CDP). Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this project aims to boost the horticulture sector by strengthening the value chain, improving post-harvest management, and enhancing market linkages. The Nashik cluster involves an estimated investment of ₹124 crore and is expected to benefit around 11,000 farmers across 10,000 hectares. Prime Fresh will leverage its expertise in agricultural supply chain management to develop integrated infrastructure, including aggregation hubs, cold storage, processing units, and agri-tech solutions, thereby aiming to increase farmer incomes and reduce crop wastage.
