Prism Johnson Invests ₹40 Cr in Wind Power SPV

Prism Johnson Ltd announced its Board of Directors has approved an investment not exceeding ₹40 Crores in KUS Renewable Private Limited (KUS), a Special Purpose Vehicle. KUS will establish a 49.5 MW Captive Wind Power Project to supply renewable energy to Prism Johnson's cement plant in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. This strategic investment aims to reduce production costs, enhance sustainability initiatives, improve energy efficiency, and meet ESG targets. The acquisition involves obtaining at least 26.5% equity share capital and redeemable preference shares. The project is expected to be completed by October 31, 2027.
