Government Confers 'Ultra Mega Project' Status to Privi Speciality Chemicals' Proposed Expansion

Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd has received a letter from the Industries, Energy, Labour and Mining Department, Government of Maharashtra, conferring the status of ‘Ultra Mega Project’ to the company's proposed expansion project for manufacture of synthetic aroma chemicals used in flavour and fragrance industries. The proposed expansion project at Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Mahad, is entitled to several incentives under the Package Scheme of Incentive Policy, 2013, including electricity duty exemption for 15 years, exemption from payment of stamp duty, and industrial promotion subsidy equivalent to 75% of eligible investments.
