PVR Inox Limited has announced the opening of its first SMART Cinema property in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. This four-screen facility, located at ICON Plaza Mall, features advanced technology including Christie's 4K RGB laser projection and recliner seating, with a capacity of 644. This launch signifies PVR Inox's strategic expansion into Tier III cities with a capital-efficient, asset-light model. The opening increases PVR Inox's screen presence in Bihar to 11 screens and contributes to its national network of 1,785 screens across 356 properties in 114 cities. The company aims to make world-class cinema more accessible in emerging growth markets.
