RPEL and TRL Krosaki form JV for silica ramming mass plant in Odisha

Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd. (RPEL) and TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd. (TRL Krosaki) have announced a strategic joint venture to establish a 350,000 MTPA silica ramming mass manufacturing facility in Odisha. The initial investment is approximately ₹100 crore. This JV aims to strengthen RPEL's manufacturing footprint in East India, support its 1 Mn MTPA capacity ambition, and enhance its supply chain efficiency. The partnership combines RPEL's patented technology and market presence with TRL Krosaki's regional strengths, quartzite resources, and global expertise. The facility will provide exclusive access to quartzite, ensuring raw material security and consistent product quality. This move is expected to bring RPEL closer to key consumption centers in East India, reduce delivery times, and lower costs for customers. TRL Krosaki anticipates unlocking greater value from its mineral resources and fostering regional industrial development.
