RailTel: ₹26.73 Cr South East Central Railway Order Cancelled

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. announced the cancellation of a work order from M/s. South East Central Railway for the supply, transportation, and laying of OFC, valued at approximately ₹26,72,60,140. The cancellation is attributed to a steep increase in the prices of OFC, HDPE pipes, and other materials due to the prevailing war situation, rendering the project cost unviable. Consequently, the customer has terminated the contract awarded to RailTel.
