Refex Renewables Acquires Controlling Stake in Vyzag Bio-Energy Fuel for INR 2.90 Crore

Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd, a Refex Group Company, has announced the acquisition of a controlling stake up to 51.02% of the total voting powers in Vyzag Bio-Energy Fuel Private Limited. This acquisition is through Refex Sustainable Solutions Private Limited (RSSPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary company. Vyzag Bio operates a Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plant producing biogas from segregated municipal waste. The plant has a capacity to output 850 kg of CBG per day. This acquisition is a strategic expansion for Refex Renewables, allowing them to diversify their portfolio in the renewables sector and enter the CBG segment. The cost of acquisition is approximately INR 2.90 Crore.
