Refex Renewables Acquires Spectrum Renewable Energy for X16.71 Crore, Expanding into CBG and Organic Manures

Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd, a Refex Group Company, has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a controlling stake of up to 100% of the total voting powers in Spectrum Renewable Energy Private Limited (SREPL). SREPL operates in the business of generation of Compressed Bio Gas (‘CBG’) and organic manure from press-mud and other biodegradable wastes at Warananagar, Kolhapur. The total consideration for the acquisition is X16.71 Crore. This acquisition is a strategic step towards expanding the company's portfolio in the renewables sector and entering into emerging markets like CBG, aligning with the company's thrust towards ESG.
