Refex Renewables Subsidiary Wins 80MW Wind Project Award

Refex Green Power Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd, has received a Letter of Award from SJVN Limited for setting up an 80 MW Wind Power Project in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. SJVN Limited, a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, will enter into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with RGPL or its SPV. The project's Scheduled Commencement of Supply of Power is expected 24 months from the PPA's Effective Date. The award is tariff-based, with power to be supplied at ₹3.88 per kWh, and the consideration will accrue over the PPA tenure based on actual energy supplied, rather than a fixed contract value.
