Reliance Chemotex Industries Ltd: Re-appointment of Mr. Ram Niwas Sharma as Non-Executive Independent Director for 5 Years

The Board of Directors of Reliance Chemotex Industries Ltd has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Ram Niwas Sharma as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a second term of 5 years, subject to the approval of shareholders. Mr. Sharma is currently the Chairperson of the Company and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology with over 53 years of experience in the textile industry. He is not related to any of the Directors or Key Managerial Personnel of the Company and is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority. The delay in filing the disclosure was inadvertent and occurred due to internal administrative reasons.
