NCLT finds RCIL Resolution Plan non-implementable

Reliance Communications Ltd (RCOM) announced that the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, has passed an order dated August 21, 2026, concerning its subsidiary, Reliance Communications Infrastructure Limited (RCIL). The NCLT disposed of applications related to the implementation of RCIL's approved Resolution Plan, deeming it non-implementable in its current form. The erstwhile Resolution Professional has been directed to convene a meeting of the Committee of Creditors (CoC) within 30 days to decide the future course of action. The matter is scheduled for further listing on September 24, 2026. The financial and operational impact on RCOM is currently not quantifiable.
