
Reliance Consumer Products Acquires Tamil Nadu's Southern Health Foods, Adds Manna to Its Health Food Offerings
Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has acquired Southern Health Foods Private Limited, a leading health foods maker from Tamil Nadu. The company, represented by its flagship brand Manna, is a leading manufacturer of wide-ranging healthy foods for well over two decades. The acquisition adds Manna to RCPL’s foods and staples portfolio, strengthening its presence in the growing millet-based foods segment. The transaction is not a related party transaction and does not require any governmental or regulatory approvals. SHFPL was incorporated on April 16, 2012, with a turnover of Rs. 109.40 crore, Rs. 127.37 crore, and Rs. 126.65 crore for the FY2024-25, FY2023-24, and FY2022-23, respectively.
