Reliance Power Limited has clarified that the recent action by State Bank of India to classify the loan account of Reliance Communications Limited as fraud has no impact on the business operations, financial performance, shareholders, employees, or any other stakeholders of Reliance Power. Reliance Power is a separate and independent listed entity with no business or financial linkage to Reliance Communications. The company has an operating portfolio of 5,305 megawatts, which includes 3960 megawatts Sasan Power Limited. For the past seven years, Sasan Power has consistently ranked as the best operating power plant in India.
