RMC Switchgears Expands Manufacturing Capacity for SMC Smart Metering Enclosures to Meet Rising Demand from AMISP Projects

RMC Switchgears Ltd. has announced the expansion of its manufacturing capacity for SMC Smart Metering Enclosures in response to the rising demand from Advanced Metering Infrastructure for Smart Payment (AMISP) Projects. The company will increase its production capacity by an additional 300,000 enclosures annually, with a projected capital expenditure between Rs. 7-10 crore. Funding for the expansion will come from the company's own reserves and term loans. RMC is actively investing in providing state-of-the-art smart metering enclosure solutions in line with the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme's (RDSS) updated mandates, positioning the company favourably to secure potential contracts with key industry leaders.
