
Rose Merc Limited and Shivaji Park Gymkhana Launch SPG Rose Merc Cricket Academy
Rose Merc Limited, a BSE-listed diversified holding company, has officially launched the SPG Rose Merc Cricket Academy in collaboration with Shivaji Park Gymkhana, a premier sporting institution known as the 'Nursery of Indian Cricket'. The launch ceremony was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Shivaji Park Gymkhana, Mumbai, and was graced by Mr Uday Tardalkar, Chairman and Independent Director of Rose Merc Limited. The academy received an overwhelming response with approximately 900 boys participating in the selection trials across three age groups, out of which 48 exceptionally talented players were selected. The structured three-year training programme will commence with professional cricket coaching and training sessions five days a week.
