Sai Life Sciences' Bidar Campus Achieves 100% Renewable Power

Sai Life Sciences announced that its Bidar campus, including Unit IV and Unit VI, now operates entirely on renewable power, making it the first Indian CRDMO site to achieve this milestone. The transition was achieved through a phased approach, utilizing solar and wind power via Open Access agreements and International Renewable Energy Certificates. Nearly 80% of Sai Life Sciences' total electricity consumption is now from renewable sources, resulting in zero market-based Scope 2 emissions and avoiding 35,110 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
