Sambhv Steel Tubes Receives Environmental Clearance for Chhattisgarh Unit

Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited has announced the receipt of Environmental Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) for its Unit-3 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The clearance is for a proposed greenfield project involving Ferro Alloys production and a 60 MW FBC-based Captive Power Plant (CPP). The project, with an estimated investment of INR 1,500 million, falls under Category 'A' for Metallurgical Industries and Thermal Power Plants. This EC is a crucial regulatory approval required for the project's implementation, as per the EIA Notification, 2006.
