Samvardhana Motherson International Acquires Nexans autoelectric GmbH and Elektrokontact GmbH for EUR 207 Million

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has announced the acquisition of Nexans autoelectric GmbH and Elektrokontact GmbH, along with their subsidiaries, by its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Motherson Global Investments B.V. The acquisition, valued at EUR 207 million, is expected to enhance the company's presence in the global passenger vehicle market, provide access to a high R&D and design network, and synergize with its Wiring Harness division. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by Q1 FY27.
