
Samvardhana Motherson International to Acquire Additional 20% Stake in Youngshin Motherson Auto Tech for INR 6.54 Crore
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has announced its decision to acquire an additional 20% stake in its joint venture, Youngshin Motherson Auto Tech Limited (YMAT), from Youngshin Components Co. Ltd., Korea. The acquisition is subject to satisfactory completion of conditions precedent and will make YMAT a wholly owned subsidiary of SAMIL. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q3 FY26. The purchase consideration for the 20% stake is INR 6.54 crore. YMAT is engaged in manufacturing & assembling auto clutch products, which are used in the HVAC assembly of passenger vehicles. The company was incorporated in July 2017 and has reported a steady increase in turnover over the last three financial years.
