
Samvardhana Motherson International to Sell Entire Shareholding in Lauak CIM Aerospace for INR 89.3 Million
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Regulations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, that its subsidiary, CIM Tools Private Limited, will sell its entire shareholding in Lauak CIM Aerospace Private Limited (LCA), a joint venture with Lauak International. The joint venture was established in 2019 to supply hard metal machining parts to Lauak, with CIM as the operating partner. After years of cooperation, both JV partners have agreed to pursue independent business strategies and focus on their core capabilities. The transaction is expected to be completed within 30 days, with CIM receiving Euro 1 million (approx. INR 89.3 million) for its shareholding. The Buyer, Lauak International, France, does not belong to the promoter/promoter group.
