
Sanathan Textiles Commences Commercial Production at its Green Manufacturing Facility in Punjab
Sanathan Textiles Limited, a leading integrated and diversified yarn manufacturer in India, has started commercial production at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wazirabad, Punjab. The Phase 1 of the facility, with a Continuous Polymerisation (CP) line, has been commissioned today at 350 tonnes per day, aiming to reach 700 tonnes per day in the next 3-4 months. Upon completion of Phase 2, the Punjab facility will contribute 950 tonnes per day, enhancing the company's total installed yarn-manufacturing capacity from 2,23,750 MTPA at Silvassa to 5,70,500 MTPA across both locations. The Punjab facility will prioritize building a strong local ecosystem, focusing on green manufacturing practices, and catering to North India's textile market, while the Silvassa plant will focus on meeting both domestic and export demand.
