Sanathan Textiles to Benefit from Cotton Import Duty Exemption

The Union Government has exempted raw cotton imports from customs duty and the Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) from June 1 through October 31, 2026. This move is expected to reduce input costs and improve the competitiveness of Indian textile exports. Sanathan Textiles, an integrated yarn manufacturer with a significant presence in cotton yarn production, is poised to benefit from this duty relief.
