Saurashtra Cement Ltd has received a show cause notice from the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Range-24, Jamnagar, under the CGST and GGST Acts, 2017. The notice pertains to alleged short payment of GST on B2C outward supplies, excess ITC availed on B2B inward supplies, and ineligible ITC for the period 2022-23. The total demand, including interest and penalty, amounts to ₹3,83,41,188.
