Selan Exploration Technology Takes Over Cambay Field, Boosts Production by 200%

Selan Exploration Technology Limited (SETL) has taken over the Cambay Field PSC from Synergia, following the amendment of the Cambay Field PSC by the Government of India. The transfer of 50% Participating Interest (PI) to Selan and the appointment of Selan as the sole Operator of the field was confirmed on 1st November 2024. Since taking operational control, Selan has initiated a detailed technical analysis, data acquisition campaign, and a two-well workover program. This strategy has resulted in an average production increase from 17 boepd in September 2024 to 51 boepd in December 2024. The pressure data collected and new seismic interpretation suggest that the field is structurally complex with fault compartments and missed opportunities in shallower reservoirs. Selan is continuing the analysis and working with Synergia on a second phase of workovers and a potential sequential drilling campaign to unlock the Cambay Field's potential.
