SEBI: SEPC Ltd. Discloses Order of Hon'ble High Court of Madras Regarding Foreign Award Enforcement

SEPC Ltd. has disclosed an order passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Madras in its hearing held on 19/02/2026. The order is in relation to E.P. Nos. 7 of 2024, 91 & 92 of 2023, and 15 & 16 of 2025, and concerns the enforcement of a foreign award in India. The order disposing of the case holds that the foreign award is enforceable in India. The court has also appointed an auditor to go into the affairs of JD2 and passed an interim attachment of assets till the report is submitted by the auditor. Additionally, the court has ordered the attachment of trade receivables to the tune of Rs.154,63,23,499 out of total trade receivables Rs.449,62,35,793. This attachment shall continue till the report is received from the auditor to be appointed by this Court.
