Setco Automotive Ltd Receives Closure Direction from Gujarat Pollution Control Board for Subsidiary Unit

Setco Automotive Ltd has received a direction from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) for the closure of one of the manufacturing units of its subsidiary, Setco Auto Systems Private Limited, located at Baroda-Godhra Highway, Kalol, District Panchmahal, Gujarat. The direction also includes disconnection of electricity supply (except single phase) and stoppage of alleged discharge of wastewater near the catchment area of River Goma. The direction has been issued based on observations made during an inspection conducted by officials of GPCB on 13 February 2026. The Company is currently examining the contents of the direction and evaluating appropriate legal remedies available to it under applicable laws. The Company will keep the stock exchanges informed of further developments in this matter. Setco Automotive Ltd assures its stakeholders that all its manufacturing units are operated consistently in compliance with applicable laws and follow the standards as per the prescribed norms.
