SCI appoints Vipul Singhal as Part-Time Govt Nominee Director

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has announced the appointment of Shri Vipul Singhal as a Part-Time (Government Nominee Director) on its Board. This appointment is effective from September 25, 2026, the date he obtained his Director Identification Number (DIN). Shri Singhal currently serves as Director (SBR) in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW). He is from the Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) 2008 batch and holds a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture. With over 17 years of experience, he has worked in logistics, transport, and railways, including policy formulation roles. The company confirmed he is not related to any existing director and is not debarred by SEBI.
