Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) has been levied a total fine of ₹13,10,980 each by BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited for non-compliance during the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The fines, totaling ₹26,21,960, are for violations related to board composition, quorum, and constitution of various committees. The company notes that the appointment of Smt. Bharati Raman Gotarna as an Independent Director, effective August 19, 2026, has led to the re-constitution of several committees, bringing them into compliance. SCI is coordinating with the Competent Authority for appointing the requisite number of Independent Directors to comply with SEBI Listing Regulations for all committees.
