Simbhaoli Sugars (CIRP) gets 3-month AGM extension for FY25-26

Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd. has received approval for a 3-month extension to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year 2025-26. The extension allows the company to hold the AGM until December 31, 2026. The company is currently undergoing a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) which commenced on July 11, 2024. Mr. Anurag Goel was appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) on the same date, and he is now managing the company's assets and functions, with the powers of the Board of Directors suspended. The application for the extension was filed through e-Form GNL-2 by the Company Secretary, with due approval from the IRP/RP and Senior Management, in compliance with Ministry of Corporate Affairs guidelines.
