Smartlink Subsidiary Digisol Receives GST Show Cause Notice for ₹1.76 Cr

Smartlink Holdings Ltd announced that its material subsidiary, Digisol Systems Limited, has received a Show Cause Notice (SCN) from the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Department. The SCN, dated September 28, 2026, and received on October 5, 2026, pertains to the tax period April 2022 to March 2023. It identifies discrepancies in GST returns, including excess outward tax reported and excess Input Tax Credit (ITC) availed. The proposed tax liability amounts to ₹1,76,69,173/-, with proposed interest of ₹1,41,33,403/- and penalty of ₹17,70,054/-. Digisol is currently studying the notice and preparing its response. The company stated there is no immediate financial impact, and any future impact will be limited to the finally determined liability.
