Hon'ble Raksha Mantri Inaugurates Solar Defence and Aerospace's Medium Calibre Ammunition Manufacturing Facility

We are pleased to inform you that the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri - Shri Rajnath Singh Ji visited the manufacturing and testing facilities of Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited, our wholly owned subsidiary, on January 18, 2026. The Hon'ble Raksha Mantri inaugurated the State-of-the-art Medium Calibre Ammunition Manufacturing facility in Nagpur, which is part of the Company's ongoing efforts to strengthen indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities. This initiative supports the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives. The Hon’ble Raksha Mantri was briefed on the Company's defence product offerings, research and development initiatives, and strategic growth plans in the defence and aerospace sector. The Company remains committed to supporting the nation’s vision for self-reliance in defence manufacturing and technological advancements.
