Somany Ceramics Ltd. has announced a temporary disruption of operations at its Kassar plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, due to a gas leakage incident on GAIL's Gauna-Bawana pipeline. The incident, caused by heavy rainfall and flood-like conditions, has resulted in the temporary stoppage of gas supply to the Kassar plant. The company's manufacturing operations at the plant are dependent on the uninterrupted supply of natural gas from GAIL. GAIL has commenced restoration work, and the company is closely monitoring the situation, assuring stakeholders that sufficient stocks are available and no sales will be affected due to the temporary shutdown. All other plants of the company remain fully operational.
