Sreeleathers Ltd Declares Interim Dividend of X 1 /- per Share for FY 2025-26, Abolition of Dividend Distribution Tax

Sreeleathers Ltd has declared an interim dividend of X 1 /- per Equity Share of X 10/- each for FY 2025-26. The dividend is payable based on shareholding in Sreeleathers Limited as on 13.02.2026, the record date fixed for this purpose. The Finance Act, 2020 has abolished the Dividend Distribution Tax and made dividend income taxable in the hands of the shareholders. The company will deduct tax at source at the time of payment to shareholders as per the Income-tax Act, 1961. The TDS rate would vary depending on the residential status of the Shareholder and the documents submitted by them. The interim dividend will be paid on or before 25.02.2026 after deducting TDS. Shareholders are required to share relevant information and declarations on or before 13.02.2026, 9 PM IST to determine the rate of tax deduction.
