Sri Ramakrishna Mills Expands Capacity by 17,472 Spindles

Sri Ramakrishna Mills Coimbatore Ltd announced a significant manufacturing capacity expansion, increasing its spindle capacity from 32,208 to 49,680 and adding 768 rotors. Production is set to rise from 5,750 Kgs per day to 19,234 Kgs per day. This expansion, estimated to cost ₹60 crores and financed through debt and internal accruals, is expected to be completed within 15 months. The company cites increased demand driven by new Free Trade Agreements as the rationale for this strategic move.
