India's Longest Precast Tunnel Inaugurated at Sensitive Border Region by Defence Minister

SRM Contractors Ltd. is proud to announce the inauguration of India's longest Precast Cut-and-Cover tunnel, measuring 920 metres, by Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh on 7th December 2025. The tunnel is located at an altitude of 12,300 feet (3,750 m) in one of the country’s most sensitive border regions. This strategically vital project will significantly enhance troop mobility, strengthen logistics, and boost India’s operational readiness in high-altitude terrain.
