State Bank of India Appoints Sunil Ramgopal Agrawal as CFO Designate

State Bank of India has announced the appointment of Shri Sunil Ramgopal Agrawal as Chief Financial Officer (Designate), effective July 15, 2026. He will officially assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and become a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) on August 1, 2026. Agrawal brings over 27 years of experience in financial services and strategy, having previously served as CFO of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). His expertise spans financial planning, capital management, investor relations, and regulatory engagement. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.E. in Computer Science.
