Steel Strips Wheels Ltd. to Expand Capacity with INR 420 Crores Investment

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd. has approved the expansion of its manufacturing capacity by setting up new units for Alloy Wheels and Aluminum Steering Knuckle. The company has entered into a lease agreement with its subsidiary, AMW Autocomponent Limited (AACL), for a land measuring around 288793.19 sq. mt. in Bhuj, Gujarat. The expansion is expected to add a capacity of 1.2 Million units per annum for Alloy Wheels and 0.6 Million units per annum for Aluminum Steering Knuckle. The estimated investment required is INR 300 crores for Alloy Wheels and INR 120 crores for Aluminum Steering Knuckle. The expansion is planned to be completed during Q4 of FY 2026-27, subject to necessary approvals and clearances.
