STERLITE TECHNOLOGIES Wins INR 2600 crore BharatNet Project in Jammu & Kashmir

STERLITE TECHNOLOGIES LTD. (STL) has won the strategically significant Jammu & Kashmir leg of the BharatNet Il project in consortium with Dilip Buildcon Limited. The project, valued at INR 2600 crore, will bring high-speed broadband connectivity to one of India’s most challenging regions. STL's automation-led fibre deployment approach, which includes drone surveys, GIS mapping, and AI-led network design, has demonstrated faster fibre deployment with fewer fibre cuts. The company has a proven track record in Jammu & Kashmir, having previously executed the Network for Spectrum (NFS) project. STL has also been a strong partner in earlier BharatNet phases, successfully executing projects such as Mahanet in Maharashtra and T-Fibre in Telangana.
