Sun Pharma Joins White House Ceremony on US Medicine Pricing

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited participated in a White House ceremony, announcing agreements with the U.S. government to enhance access to affordable medicines. As part of the commitment, Sun Pharma will extend Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing to state Medicaid programs and for future innovative medicine launches. The agreement also acknowledges Sun Pharma's U.S. investments by delaying Section 232 tariffs on innovative pharmaceutical products for over two years. The U.S. is a critical market for Sun Pharma, representing approximately 27% of its global revenue and a cornerstone of its growth strategy, further evidenced by its recent acquisition of Organon & Co.
